Hike up the highest peak on St. Martin—Pic Paradis. The guided hikes involve hiking through beautiful tropical gardens with a guide who informs the hikers of the different fauna as well as the history of the location. This tour is about 2 miles long and takes hikers up to about 1300 feet above sea level. While at the top, you will be introduced to a scene of St. Maarten like you have never seen before. A stunning vista that spans various communities and towns of St. Maarten that is just simply breathtaking.
If you are looking for something a little less adventurous, but picturesque then you may want to try a scenic coastal hike along the rugged undeveloped coastline between Guana Bay and Pointe Blanche. It’s a single coastal track trail where you will see goats, iguanas, birds, cactus, neighboring islands and natural rock formations. Hiking on St. Maarten is a truly unique experience.
